It's been around forever and I love it. Pastries are great but the cheese cake is probably the best in the state and that's not an easy task considering New York cheesecake is known for nationally.
This is a cool old spot located just outside of Syracuse city. I think it's been around since the 40's. Very cool old school sign on the pursued and sliding doors to enter. This is a no frills bakery - a lot of bakeries now just try to do too much. This place knows what they're good at and they stick to it. The half-moon cookies were awesome, as were the peanut donuts. I have to go back and try more donuts and pastries. The only thing I didn't care for was the cannoli, which I think had an odd tang to it that I just didn't like. Other than that, it's a real cool spot unique to Syracuse.

I asked for a baguette and they gave me white bread. I brought it back and they admitted that they never heard of a baguette. No refund was offered. They may consider educating their employees.
Loved coming here!! Large selection of every bakery item you can think of! I came in for bread and left with a large box of pastries also!! Everything is delicious and fresh, the price is great too! The staff was very patient as I looked and they very nice and helpful. Highly recommend stopping in here! We'll be back, thanks!
This place is good if you're looking for pastries or holiday treats. I love their cookies, cupcakes, half moons and bread. Before holidays, the line here can be out the door. I would recommend stopping by early to get your holiday treats.
I remember coming to this bakery as a kid with my dad and he'd let me pick a donut before dance class. I stopped in today on a whim and was filled with nostalgia. I love the colorful and classic assortment of treats that greet you through the glass containers. I love the friendly and efficient staff behind the counter. Cash and cards welcome, and there's a parking lot for customers. I chose three donuts, a half moon and a mini peach cheesecake. Thank you for the yummy treats and all the memories
This place is full of memories for me! Half moon cookies are The Big Deal, if you grew up in Syracuse. I visit this bakery any time I'm in Syracuse!
